Below you can read the finer details about the BRAVE! program. If you can’t find the answer to your question here, please reach out to us at brave@sustainary.org or call us.

As to be eligible for BRAVE!, the startup must be a minority-led venture. We accept startups with at least 50% founders with an ethnic minority background.
Our goal is to have a gender-balanced program.

From the 15th of February until the 23rd of March, we will open up the application on our website. Interested startups can then fill out the application form and provide us with all the required information.

Based on the provided information, the participants will be selected for the BRAVE Program

Participation is free of charge.

Yes, if you have a minority background you are entitled to take part. The program is also open for founders born in Europe and other countries – as long as you live and work in Denmark/Nordic region

For the first round of BRAVE!, running between March and June 2023, there are 7 available spots for startups.

We are looking for founders within Pre-Seed and Seed stages. Which means that you’ve identified a clear market opportunity and path to market with your product. Additionally, probably you’ve built or are currently building an MVP. However, we are happy to support startups that have made more progress and that are registered as companies and help fast-track your success.

We are sector agnostic, our main focus is the IMPACT. But we do have a focus on technology. So if you’re using technology and you’re solving a big societal or environmental problem, you can apply.

You must be based in Denmark – we have 1 wild card from other Nordic countries.

You have to participate physically in 75% of the workshops (in Copenhagen). Some of the mentors are open to online mentoring, but we have to take into consideration that most mentors prefer physical meetings. We adjust our programs to the mentors’ availability.
